Account Manager - North Scotland

Our man Dan is leaving us. He’s off to live in Milton Keynes, presumably because he likes concrete cows and roundabouts. This means we need to replace Dan. We considered buying a mannequin, some brewery branded hats and a packet of cigarettes, but it we felt we might benefit more with a real life person in the long term.

This real life person will ideally be based in Aberdeen, or very close. We are in the process of putting a depot in to Inverness to be able to service the north west (north of Perth, west and east of Inverness). The current role will expand along the A96 corridor as well as down the M90, down the A9 and across to Fort William. The majority of time will be spent in Aberdeen, Dundee and Inverness.

You will be the following;

A good human - Everything else you can learn if required, but it’s most important that you are a good human.

Organised - The role is remote; physically & geographically.. You will be part of a 6 person account management team which is spread across Scotland and the north of England, and you will be responsible for your own time management.

Positive - Working alone can be tiresome and wearing. Having a generally positive disposition makes handling that remote working much easier.

Pro-active - We have established business up the east coast, but from Aberdeen to Inverness, Inverness to Fort William and the A9 corridor, is where we are looking to build.

One or more of the following wouldn’t do you any harm;

  • Knowledge of RTM within the UK beer market

  • Experience of working within the UK beer market

  • A network of relationships within the UK beer market

  • Previous experience in either hospitality or sales (in any sector)

  • A good knowledge of, and interest in, specialist beer

  • A valid drivers license

What you’ll get from us;

  • Support to develop the role, and further your own knowledge / experience and relationship base.

  • A people focussed company

  • A laptop and phone

  • A vehicle

  • Other company benefits

We are looking for the right person to join the company, and that person won’t necessarily be the most experienced in a similar role. We need someone to fit into our team and drive our company in the north of Scotland.
